Briefs are practical SA trade notes from the pick desk: weeding calm, focus gauges, hatchback pack lists, Friday bit audits, humidity press timing, hold-downs before hero cuts, and shared trays that return full.
The index is paginated so each screen stays about a dozen cards. Page one holds the current desk priority set. Page two continues the archive. Use pagination, not an endless scroll, when you brief a school or a sign crew.
Read a brief before you widen the week. Pair it with a pick or station leaf. Coastal notes sit with humidity. Inland notes sit with dust and FET period layouts. Write pick@bythis.co.za with the brief title in the subject when you want a desk hour.
We refuse megacatalogue dumps and restart pitches. A brief continues the station you already named. Keep the tray photo current. Keep the station sentence honest. Titles and nav stay clean; body copy keeps light trade voice.
Pagination craft note
Twelve cards per page matches the Bright Display journal bar of about five screen lengths on a laptop. Keep using Next and the page numbers. Do not ask the desk for a single endless index.
When you share a link with a crew, share the page that holds the card you mean. Page two is a real URL with its own canonical. Search engines and humans both get a stable leaf.
