What the week usually looks like
Most SA maker shops under ten people run on partial systems: a WhatsApp thread that acts as a job board, a shared drawer that is also a junk jar, and a founder who is still the backup for every role. In that context, this brief is less about theory and more about protecting Tuesday. We map the decisions that must happen before a vinyl job, before a night laser shift, or before a market hatchback leaves. It is easy to overbuy the tray on day one.
Practice we defend
Start with one station sentence. Open one pick. Run the checklist leaf before you decorate the brand. Print the layout leaf so load-shedding cannot erase the plan from a whiteboard alone. A working sequence
Monday: name the station and open the matching pick. Tuesday: finish the checklist leaf, even the boring boxes. Wednesday: align the layout leaf with whoever owns follow-ups. Thursday: run care so foam and squares stay honest. Friday: review exceptions and decide whether to widen scope or stop. If power windows cut the week short, protect Tuesday first. Decoration can wait.
South African caveats
Humidity, dust, couriers, and FET bells each have their own tempo. Coastal storage changes film and powder. Inland dust changes bit care. Power windows change night-shift length. We name those constraints because ignoring them is how calm weeks become chaotic weeks. We also refuse fiction: this site does not claim to replace trainers, electricians, or licensed advisors.
